What's Your Favorite??

To GOD be the GLORY!

Everyone is passion about about something in their life. What you like learning, experimenting with, playing, sharing, teaching and talking about gives us a little insight into your passion. For example: due to the way Jesus has impacted my life, I can't help but want to learn more about him, try to love others like him and share with you how much he means in my life. To put it simply I tried to fill my life with things i thought would satisfy, but at the end of the day I still felt empty & meaningless until I tried following Jesus. My life has never be empty or meaningless since. He is something I'm passionate about and feel like He's worth sharing :)

In terms of photography, I have subjects and styles that I LOVE experimenting with every once and a while so I figured I would share that with you! I've narrowed it down to four things: silhouettes, candids, artistic, and laughter. I get so excited over these different types of photographs! I will eventually share with you each subject, but for now I'll start off with silhouettes:

Silhouettes to me are so unique because they force the eye to focus on the subject in a different way than we are naturally trained. We can focus on the surroundings, the color and the action more so than we normally would. It's also unique because since there is a lack of a description on the face which allows our minds to place ourselves in that setting. Its the very reason why Apple used silhouettes for their iPod commercials. There is no physical description on ethnicity, financial status or beauty but merely the fact that these people with an iPod in their hand are having a great time. Therefore our minds conclude, if I have an iPod I could have just as much fun! Anywho, here are a few of my favorite silhouette shots :)

Ana & Joe - Orlando Wedding

To GOD be the GLORY!

Ana and Joe's wedding took place on Superbowl Sunday at the beautiful Lake Mary Events Center: http://www.lakemaryeventscenter.com/. If you're planning a wedding I highly recommend you check it out! Not only am I a Lake Mary native, but it's a beautiful building for an affordable price. This wedding I had the opportunity to second shoot for Spectacle Photo! I'm so thrilled that they allowed me to experience this opportunity. My job was to follow the bride for most of the day so you will see more pictures of her.

Ana and Joe's wedding sure had a unique variety of entertainment. Ana's shared some of her Spanish culture with entertainment from a Salsa dancer and Mariachi band! What fun. To throw in Joe's Italian side, the wedding finished off with just the family and close friends at an authentic Italian restaurant. Take a look at some of the highlights!:

Something I enjoyed about this wedding is that everyone seemed to just have a great time simply enjoying each others company. No need for dancing, music, entertainment, they were simply the happiest talking amongst each other.

I'm pretty sure I will never get tired of watching couples dance :)

Then the first surprise entertainment of the night tore up the dance floor! So impressive!

The in came the Mariachi band! Who needs a stereo when you have live music! They were so incredibly talented I couldn't help, but want to dance! No worries though, I contained myself ;)

The evening finished off with just close family and friends dinning at a local Italian Restaurant.

Meghan & DJ E-Session

To GOD be the GLORY!!

I'm pretty sure Meghan and DJ were smiling, laughing, and having a blast the entire time we were shooting. When I see couples relaxing and having fun it puts me at ease, allowing me to focus on the pictures. Meghan's hair might give it away in a few shots, but it was a crazy windy day as we walked along Park Ave and ventured around Rollins College. They are such a sweet couple, I'm so looking forward to their wedding day!!

I'm currently in the process of working on a new and more organized blog site. Hopefully that will be up within the month. Also a wedding post to come soon!!

Heather - Portrait Session

To GOD be the GLORY!!

There are a lot of time consuming college majors out there, but one that seems to go unnoticed is music. When these students aren't studying with their nose in a book, they are busy in the music halls practicing piece after piece. Heather is one such student who has put an abundant amount of time devoted to learning the flute. After 4 years, she has reached her senior year and with that comes the time of her last recital at UCF. Certainly a bitter sweet. To help promote her recital and career after college, she asked for a portrait session featuring her flute. Here's a couple shots we came up with!

Be sure to keep watch on the blog. This week there will be more updates including an engagement session and a wedding! Also, check out the website! http://www.wix.com/jesusroxs/Kt-Crabb-Photography

One of Heather's recital pieces includes a song that basically pokes fun at other classical songs so we thought this was fitting :)
